2025 New Year Fasting Instructions 

General Guidelines

1. Prayer Times: Commit to praying at 6:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 6:00 PM daily. Use these times to focus on:

• 6:00 AM: Personal vision (your goals, spiritual growth, purpose).

• 12:00 PM: Family vision (relationships, healing, unity, and purpose).

• 6:00 PM: Vision for the church (ministry, leadership, and collective mission).

Week 1: Personal Vision (Focus on Self-Reflection and Alignment)

• Day 1 ( Jan 6) (Water & Juice Fast until Noon): Only water and 100% fruit juice (no added sugar) until noon. Afterward, eat light, healthy meals. Reflect on personal goals and spiritual growth.

• Day 2 ( Jan 7) (No Meat, Vegetables Only): Focus on eating fresh salads, and vegetables.

Meditate on Psalm 139:23-24.

• Day 3 ( Jan 8) (No Fried Food or Sweets): Avoid fried foods, sugar, and sweets. Pray for clarity and discernment in your personal life.

• Day 4 ( Jan 9)(Water & Juice Fast until Noon): Same as Day 1. Spend your noon prayer time journaling about where you see God leading you personally.

• Day 5 ( Jan 10)(No Meat, Salads & Vegetables Only): Pray for strength to align your actions with your vision.

• Day 6 ( Jan 11) (No Fried Food or Sweets): Focus on Psalm 37:4 and ask God to align your desires with His will.

• Day 7 ( Jan 12) (Water & Juice Fast until Noon): Reflect on the week and write down key personal revelations.

Week 2: Family Vision (Focus on Healing and Unity)

• Day 8 ( Jan 13) (No Meat, Salads & Vegetables Only):

Pray for family restoration and unity. Meditate on Joshua 24:15.

• Day 9 ( Jan 14)(Water & Juice Fast until Noon): Pray specifically for each family member by name. Ask God to reveal their purpose.

• Day 10 ( Jan 15)(No Fried Food or Sweets): Avoid indulgences as you focus on strengthening your role in the family. Reflect on Ephesians 6:1-4.

• Day 11 ( Jan 16)(No Meat, Salads & Vegetables Only): Seek God for wisdom to handle family challenges. Pray for protection over your household.

• Day 12 ( Jan 17) (Water & Juice Fast until Noon): Dedicate time to praying for marriages, parent-child relationships, and generational blessings.

• Day 13 ( Jan 18) (Water & Juice Fast until Noon): Meditate on Colossians 3:13 and release any family conflicts to God.

• Day 14 ( Jan 19) (Water & Juice Fast until Noon): Write a family vision statement, outlining your prayers for unity, love, and purpose.

Week 3: Vision for the Church (Focus on Mission and Collective Purpose)

• Day 15 ( Jan 20) (Water & Juice Fast until Noon): Pray for the church’s leadership, ministries, and ability to impact the community. Reflect on Habakkuk 2:2-3.

• Day 16 ( Jan 21)(No Meat, Salads & Vegetables Only): Focus on praying for unity among church members. Meditate on Ephesians 4:11-13.

• Day 17 ( Jan 22) (No Fried Food or Sweets): Pray for financial provision and resources for the church’s vision. Reflect on Philippians 4:19.

• Day 18 ( Jan 23) (Water & Juice Fast until Noon): Pray for spiritual revival and the church’s role in advancing God’s kingdom.

• Day 19 ( Jan 24)(No Meat, Salads & Vegetables Only): Reflect on 1 Corinthians 12:12-14 and pray for every member to embrace their role in the church.

• Day 20 ( Jan 25) (Water & Juice Fast until Noon): Pray for the church’s youth and future generations to carry the vision forward.
